oh, i quite like this. i love all the colors of the skin, and how varied they are...and those brush strokes are really lovely.
Hey, do you recommend any painting teachers at AAU? Just wondering, it's always good to have some inside info. on the instructors...
i've only had 3 actual painting teachers so far, but i highly suggest kazu sano, he teaches acrylic figure painting and honors portfolio.
i jus had him last semester, one of the most important classes i've ever taken.
did you jus start at the academy?
Hey, thanks for the reply! Yeah, I just had my first semester this Spring, though I've had years of product design work as a footwear designer. I've managed to transfer a lot of credits though and I've waived just about all the Foundations classes, so hopefully I can get into the meat of my education. I kinda abbreviated my desire to be an illustrator years ago for that job since it paid well and I kinda regret, but there's no better moment than now...
